Founded in 2009, The App Business (TAB) builds great products and services for ambitious clients.
TAB exists to create digital experiences that make the world work better for billions of people. It's a lofty goal, but we’re doing pretty well. We work with organisations including Tesco, Visa, Shell, RBS, Ford, and Unilever building core mobile and tech experiences, meaning tens of millions of people use products we build every single day. We’ve got even bigger plans for the future – and we need your help to realise them.
The Demand Team
The Demand team exists to find the right work to fuel TAB’s growth. We develop consultative, peer-level relationships with our high-value clients and prospects. We communicate our brand, purpose, and vision with accuracy, enthusiasm, and conviction. We find, generate and win the kind of work that TABbers want to do.
You’ll join a passionate and successful team, from a broad range of backgrounds, with big ambitions.
You will have primary responsibility for growing TAB’s revenue from new prospects and clients. You'll benefit from the autonomy and support required to achieve that. You’ll work closely with your clients and the wider delivery teams for your pitches and projects. TAB has some of the most talented individuals in the industry, you’ll be working closely with them.
We find people with a deep understanding and passion for technology and modern software development often have the most success, both within TAB, and with our clients. This is a commercial role but TAB is a technology company at heart.

Identifying, winning, growing new clients and achieving your growth target. You will be making a meaningful contribution to TABs growth.
As a client partner, you'll have…
Six plus years experience in a commercial role in the software development space personally closing deals valued £500k and above.
A demonstrable track record of finding, generating and closing valuable, interesting work.
Extraordinary relationship management skills, including those required for negotiation, challenge resolution and networking in large, complex organisations.
The consultative, trustworthy style required to influence, motivate and challenge your colleagues and clients alike.
A commercial, analytical mind. You'll act as a commercial steward for your projects and pitches, and lead those around you to think in the same way.
You’ll demonstrate a high level of integrity and empathy, even in challenging situations.
